About this site
Editorial policy
Where our facts come from, how we use AI, how we check each guide, and how we keep it current.
Sources we use
Every rule, fee, deadline and figure on this site comes from a primary source:
- government immigration and student-finance pages, for example travel.state.gov, uscis.gov, gov.uk, canada.ca and homeaffairs.gov.au;
- official statistics, for example the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the UK Office for National Statistics, Statistics Canada and the Australian Bureau of Statistics;
- a university’s or a scholarship provider’s own pages, for its own fees, deadlines and conditions.
We use other websites only to find a primary source. We do not repeat a figure we cannot trace to one. Each guide lists its sources at the end.
How we use AI
We use AI-assisted research tools to find official pages, summarise them and draft text. Each guide then passes one more step:
- AI-assisted research and drafting find the official sources and write the guide.
- An independent AI-assisted fact-check, run apart from the draft, compares each rule, figure and date with its primary source. We record the result for each article.
- The guide shows the date of that check: “Fact-checked against official sources with AI assistance”.
No person reviews every figure line by line. We do not claim that. Raditya S is the named author and decides what we publish. We do not invent reviewers, quotes or credentials.
What “last checked” means
Each guide shows the date its AI-assisted fact-check compared each rule, fee and deadline with the official page. It is not a promise that the rule is still the same today. Official pages change, sometimes without notice, so check the source on the day you apply.
Our recheck promise
We recheck each guide when we learn that an official source has changed, and at least once every [to verify] months. When we recheck a guide, we run the fact-check again and update its date, even when nothing changed.
Publish dates are truthful. We never backdate a guide.
Corrections
If you find an error, email contact@campusandcareer.org with the page and, if you can, the official source. We check the claim against the source, correct the guide, and update its date.
What we do not publish
- Immigration “hacks” or workarounds for visa rules.
- Essay-writing, exam-help or cheating services.
- Paid degrees, diploma mills or unaccredited providers.
- Loan, credit or crypto promotions.
Money and independence
No one pays for a guide or for its conclusions. The site carries no advertising or affiliate links today. If that changes, every paid or affiliate link will carry a visible label and be marked as sponsored, and this policy will say so first.
Not advice
Our guides are general information, not legal, immigration or financial advice. See the disclaimer.
